When someone asks you, "Who are you?" One would generally say "I'm *insertnamehere*." But who are you really? Do really know who you are? How can you tell? How does one define who we are? All of us are just made up of water, air, and molecules. We all have brains, hearts, bones but what makes us different from each other? what makes us US? Why are some hearts black, while some are golden? Why do we have deep desires;secrets? Can you analyze your self and say your good? How do you know? As one grows older, we change. We get influenced by outside sources other than ourselves. So how do we know who we are if we are constantly changing? Do you have the power to change yourself? Can you be something your not? If so then who are you? If you try to be something else are you just changing your behavior or yourself? Deep down in your core who are you? If you look inside yourself and see things that you don't want to see or see things that you do want to see, is it just your mind thinking that? Or is it really what you are? Which part defines you?

Does anybody really know who they are?

i'd say no. in everyone there are things they don't want to accept, and so they would not note it or accept it as part of 'them'. but it would still be there inside, so it would indeed be part...so i'd say no.
